The 2011 Arts Forum 9th annual visual arts exhibition entitled ‘CUBE WEST’ will take place at OPEN Ealing (113 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 5TL) between 1st and 30th September.
This new partnership between the Arts Forum and OPEN Ealing sees a positive development in terms of access to this new arts venue, as well as opportunities for collaborative working, and promoting the arts in Ealing.
The Arts Forum takes an inclusive approach, encouraging contributions from professional artists, community arts and students of art. Exhibition Logistics
Thank-you for participating in this year’s festival, we look forward to displaying your work. Below is some useful information for exhibitors.
Entry requirements
· Complete the registration form and email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 1st August.
· Work should be labelled clearly with your name, address, telephone number and the title of the work on the back, together with any handling and/or hanging instructions.
· Work should be framed and ready to display, mounted of framed appropriately, with mirror plates attached. Please note that clip frames are not permitted.
· We reserve the right to refuse artwork that is not suitably presented for display, or is deemed to be offensive by the organisers.
· Arts Forum representatives and Resident Artist Jack Jones will curate the exhibition.
· Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Some works may not be shown if there is not available space to accommodate it.
· EALING Open has public liability insurance cover for the exhibition, but we recommend that artists insure their work (e.g. check www.a-n.co.uk for insurance cover).
· Work cannot be removed before the end of the exhibition.
· The sale price will be included in the exhibition brochure, with a 10% commission on any sales going to the Acton Arts Forum. You will be informed of any interested buyers.
· Unless otherwise stated by letter, works exhibited may be photographed for press purposes in connection with the exhibition.
· Copyright of all works remains the property of the artist/maker.
Arts Forum EALING Open 1st – 30th September
· Work must be delivered with the £10 administration fee to EALING Open at 113 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 5TL on Tuesday 30th August between 11 am and 6 pm.
· The Private View will take place on Friday 2nd September between 6 and 9 pm.
· The exhibition will be open to the public between 1st and 30th September. Opening times are Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am – 6 pm.
· The exhibition will be dismantled on Thursday 3rd October and you will need to collect your work between 11 am and 6 pm.
