The South Acton Network provides an opportunity for local residents, community organisations, service providers and statutory bodies to come together and discuss issues relevant on the estate. It encourages grassroots community led activity and provides an effective place in which to discuss and progress issues affecting the quality of life of the local people.

Themed Network Meetings take place approximately every 2-3 months. The themes are selected in response to the ideas and opinions of the network members and reflect the issues they are experiencing within their neighbourhood. Recent topics have included: Services for older people, Summer Play Youth Provision, Education and Training, Regeneration Updates, progress of the Oaktree Community Centre and Communications. The information from these meetings has been compiled into a Services Directory.

SAN continues to grow in membership and foster relationships between the community  and statutory sectors, working closely with the likes of Ealing Council, Ealing Homes and Sure Start, to name but a few. Promoting the effective flow of information to avoid duplication, encouraging participation which reflects the diversity of South Acton, and encouraging community Cohesion are what makes SAN unique and successful.

The South Acton Network is open to all residents, community organisations, and service providers offering support and opportunities to those in the area. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please fill out the online form (joiners form) and you will be invited to forthcoming meetings.

Minutes of previous meetings are available.
